All the products announced at Samsung Unpacked 2024 and their prices
Samsung recently unpacked boxes of updates and devices as it unveils new addition to its list of products.
Here is a full list of devices unboxed at the event and the damage they’ll cause to your bank account;
Samsung Galaxy Ring:
Samsung unveiled its first smart ring.
It uses AI-powered monitoring features to track activity, analyze sleep patterns and offer insights on health and wellness.
It starts at $399.
The titanium Galaxy Ring has an accelerometer, PPG sensors to measure blood flow and skin temperature detection.
It can track metrics such as sleep score, movement during your slumber, heart rate, respiratory rate and menstrual cycles.
Samsung Galaxy aRingvwill create an overall Energy Score to help give you a picture of your overall health and offer suggestions on how to improve things.
Along with automatic workout detection, the ring can deliver heart rate alerts and nudge its user to move around a little if it hasn’t picked up much movement from you recently.
The smart ring can also remotely snap a photo with your Galaxy phone.
According to Samsung, The Galaxy Ring, has a quick charging case, and can run for up to seven days on a single charge.
At $400, the smart ring is open to preorders and will start shipping on July 24.
Galaxy Z Fold 6
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 looks like a regular smartphone from the outside and unfolds into a mini tablet.
Z Fold6 launches with a bigger screen , a more lightweight build and a new set of AI-powered features. The upgraded features include;
- The outside screen is 6.3-inches (1mm bigger than the Fold5)
- the internal display is now 7.6-inches (2.7mm bigger than before).
- the device is now 14g lighter than the fifth generation of the phone.
- ZFold 6 features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip , a 12GB of RAM and a choice of 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of internal storage.
- Flaunting a new 12MP ultra-wide sensor with the camera, the Z Fold 6 can still handle 3x optical zoom.
- It’s also the brightest device in its category, with a maximum of 2,600 nits.
The Fold6 gets really interesting with its AI software:
Circle to Search allows users to use the included S Pen to highlight on-screen content and search for it online.
Sketch to Image lets users draw on a photo and then AI will transform it into a realistic-looking object.
Browsing Assist summarizes web pages or articles on the side of the screen.
Transcribe Assist transcribes any and all audio content into Samsung notes.
Translate Conversation Mode is a feature where the phone is partially folded and it’ll translate the user’s speech in real-time on both sides, displaying the message on the other side to the person in their language and vice versa.
The Google Gemini app is fully integrated.
Using the words “Hey Google” or by swiping from the corner of the screen, you can pull up an overlay to use as you browse the phone to get help with writing and learning as you go.
The Samsung Galaxy ZFold6 is available for pre-order now and will be on sale from July 24, starting from £1,799.
Galaxy Z Flip 6
Like the Galaxy Z Fold 6, this foldable flip phone gets a $100 price increase to $1,099, and it also sees a number of AI-powered features like smart replies that are customized for the phone’s cover screen. But there are some hardware improvements, too, like a 50MP main camera and a more durable design.
- The camera system has an updated design with a color-matched lens housing.
- There’s a new 50MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, which is the same
- This system includes auto-zoom framing and an AI algorithm for better portraits
- The base RAM has gotten an upgrade, from 8GB to 12 GB .
- The 6.7-inch AMOLED main screen boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits.
- The cover screen is a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED 60Hz display.
Software upgrades include;
- New interactive and generative wallpapers
- A photo ambient mode that changes color based on the time and weather.
- A new texting feature that analyzes the past seven messages to help come up with suggested replies.
Z Flip6 comes in new colors, like silver, yellow and blue, including some exclusive colors, such as white and peach sold but Samsung.
Preorders are available right now and there’s a bonus for early adopters.
Early adopters automatically bumped up to the next storage size.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 starts at $1,100.
Galaxy Watch 7 And Galaxy Watch Ultra
Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra will be the very first smartwatches to receive access to Google’s latest operating system for wearables., Wear OS 5
It won’t be available on other devices until Google’s Pixel Watch.
Both Watch 7 and Watch Ultra come with AI-powered health tracking .
Watch 7 features a new processor and some other iterative hardware improvements.
Presented in two different versions,
The 40mm version starts at $299, and the larger 44mm version costs from $329.
Galaxy Watch Ultra is a more premium smartwatch,
It promises greater durability and longer battery life than the standard Galaxy Watch.
Galaxy Watch Ultra is priced at $650 .
Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 pro
They both have dual amplifiers, planar tweeters and a super-wideband call feature too.
When paired with a Z Flip 6 or Z Fold 6, the Interpreter app can translate audio live into users ears.
Both models use their mics to analyze internal and external sound to optimize audio quality and active noise cancellation. The Buds 3 Pro can automatically adjust for noise via the adaptive noise control, siren detect and voice detect features.
It emphasizes microphone quality, controls and adaptive AI-powered adjustments
The in-ear Buds 3 Pro have a new blade (i.e. stem) design with lights built in. Users can control the audio by pinching or swiping up or down.
The earbuds are open to pre-orders and will be generally available starting on July 24.
Galaxy Buds 3 start at $180, while a pair of Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will run you $250.
